Sous Chef
We are seeking a driven and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at a leading B2B catering business known for delivering exceptional food and service to corporate clients, VIP events, and executive-level functions.
As our Sous Chef, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing daily kitchen operations, supporting menu execution, and upholding the highest standards of food quality and safety. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and lead a team of culinary professionals in a fast-paced, client-focused environment that thrives on excellence and innovation.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the kitchen team, supervise, as well as execute daily operations with a hands-on approach to all tasks required.
- Coordinate and prepare all catering orders and menus in close collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Ensure proper daily cooking and packing workflows while maintaining a sustainable manpower use.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards and lead by example in upkeeping our kitchen and working space.
- Communicate with operations and delivery teams as well as coordinate with teammates.
- Manage inventory, place orders with suppliers in collaboration with the executive chef.
- Train new kitchen staff in coordination with the Executive Chef and ensure quality control at all times.
- Report directly to the Executive Chef and Management.
What We’re Looking For
- An early riser, professional, and passionate chef who understands and has experience in handling a kitchen team to meet the goals set. Most of our operation is focused on the mornings, so if you enjoy early mornings, this is definitely for you.
- Proven background in professional kitchens, experience in similar positions, and handling and coordinating a team. Ideally, with a particular focus on catering or events.
- Confident in supervising kitchen staff, managing prep, and keeping service smooth. High sense of time management in a fast-paced environment.
- You thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments without compromising quality.
- Strong at coordinating orders, timing, and kitchen logistics. Eagerness to learn the systems we work with and be ready to use them as a main day-to-day tool of support.
- Committed to standardization and finessing of our product catalog and, in coordination with the Executive Chef, lead the presentation, portioning, and consistency of product delivery.
- You’re calm and flexible when plan shifts, whether it’s a last-minute menu change or a busy rush.
Flexibility is important in this role - not just in daily service, but also as our operations evolve. While our operation is mostly focused on weekdays and mornings, we expect some operations during weekends or evenings occasionally.
